The everyday-stress root

Zenroot™ ashwagandha — for the stress of an ordinary day.

Ashwagandha root has a long history in Ayurveda. Zenroot™ is OmniActive’s root-only extract, standardized to 1.5% withanolides, and its placebo-controlled trial used exactly the 125 mg in our capsule.

Tested on ordinary stress, for twelve weeks.

The trial didn’t enrol people with an anxiety disorder or long-term stress. It enrolled 90 working-age adults with mild-to-moderate stress of under three months, gave half of them 125 mg a day and half a placebo, and checked in at weeks 2, 4, 8 and 12. Nothing differed at week 2; by week 4 stress and sleep-quality scores had moved, and by week 8 mood had too.

Ashwagandha isn’t for everyone: not during pregnancy or breastfeeding, and not without your clinician’s advice if you have a thyroid, liver or autoimmune condition. Rare cases of liver injury have been reported with ashwagandha products. Some European countries restrict it in supplements.
